FASHION FADES - STYLE STAYS
From a very early age, sole proprietor Pam Hellens was drawn to textiles, clothing and costume. Many hours as a child were spent looking at tribal costumes in National Geographic magazines, embroidering linen and sewing her own designs.
Her skills with textiles and sewing have lead to a position as Wardrobe Mistress for the world's biggest ice-skating show (Holiday-on-Ice), the designing and making of hundreds of made-to-measure garments from her studio in Chelsea Village, Perth and the winning of three WA design awards. Her already extensive knowledge was compounded through studying for a degree in Fine Art as well as gaining an Honours degree (1st class) in design. Her addiction to textiles, love of clothing and dressing the female body continues to inspire her everyday life.
With over 35 years experience in designing for, measuring and fitting women's bodies Pam knows that there is no such thing as a standard size and that looking great and having style for a woman does not automatically come by adorning the body in designer label clothing. in her own words: "Fashion Fades Style Stays".
Pam and everyone at fusion clothing loves designer label clothing but they also know that what's in fashion this year does not necessarily suit everyone, that dressing the body is an expression of one's own unique personality and that women's bodies come in many different sizes, shapes and colours. As such their tireless search for a diverse and stylish range of garments means fusion clothing stocks real clothes for real women, this includes new, recyled, designer and vintage women's clothing.
It also means that they are always on the lookout for interesting, quality stock. So if you know of any fashionistas, anyone who is having a wardrobe clear-out, or maybe someone who has made a bad buy (remember consignment is for anyone) and would like to sell their garment on, please, do us all a favour and let them know about fusion clothing.
Fusion clothing helps you to get the best from your consignment by selling both 24/7 online and from their walk-in retail space at 168 Hampden Rd, Nedlands, Perth (opp Jesters). If there is something you are specifically looking for contact info@fusionclothing.com.au they may have it in store (and not online) or may be able to source it for you.
